Lisa’s path to senior move management began with a meaningful friendship born out of her experience as a volunteer for Better at Home. She observed how many seniors face major life transitions alone, without practical or emotional support. Rya Rightsizing is named in honour of Raija, whose name means “guiding light,” and the friendship that inspired this work.
With over 20 years’ experience in education and student support, Lisa brings a lifelong commitment to helping others. Her background in organizing, logistics, and care-based communication, along with her experience working closely with elders in professional and community settings, allows her to guide families through vulnerable transitions with empathy, respect, and problem-solving expertise.
Rya Rightsizing offers logistical assistance and compassionate guidance to help seniors and their families navigate change with dignity, care, and confidence. We handle all the logistics of downsizing, decluttering, and moving.
As a board member of Making Connections Community Society and Squamish Seniors Living Society, Lisa continues to support programs that foster community, connection, and well-being for local seniors.
